CUSTOMER CARE

Our terms and conditions comply with Australian legislation, including the Distance Selling Regulations. They are designed to ensure that Sewing-online customers can shop with us in safety and security. For your own reference, please feel free to print and keep a copy. 
Sewing-online reserves the right to discontinue or change products and pricing without notice. Errors in pricing on the website are not binding and may be adjusted at any time.

ACCEPTING ORDERS AND SECURITY

When you place an order we treat it as an offer to buy. We will send an e-mail to confirm receipt. If we accept your order, we will also send you a confirmation e-mail with your order number, at which point we make a legal contract with you. However, we will be entitled to refuse to accept your order if we feel it necessary, in which case we will e-mail you as soon as we can to let you know.
In deciding whether to accept your order we may use the information you have given to us, or we already hold about you, or which we receive from any enquiry we may make with external agencies to confirm your identity. This assists us to protect you and us from fraudulent transactions. If we decline your offer on security grounds we may contact you to seek an alternative payment method.

DELIVERY 

Sewing-online will deliver items Australia wide. We endeavor to ship items as quickly as possible. All orders are usually dispatched within 3-5 working days. However if an item that you have ordered is not in stock and will take longer to dispatch, we will notify you by email.

    GUARANTEE

    All Sewing-online products have a 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects. This guarantee does not include consumable items such as needles, bobbins, light bulbs, etc.

    RETURNS


    If you decide you are unhappy with your purchase, please advise us by e-mail before return of goods. Your product is to be returned to Sewing-online within 14 days unused, and in its original condition. A full refund will be given less our postage costs (unless faulty) your product will be returned to the delivery address at your expense.

    · Full rolls and unopened packages
    · Damaged goods
    · Incorrect items

    The following items may NOT be returned:
    · Any cut merchandise
    · Special order items
    · Opened packages

    Sending a Return

    With your return please provide us with your invoice number, item, quantity to be returned, reason for return and your contact details. Once we receive your return, we will credit you within 14 working days.

    FAULTY GOODS

    All goods must be checked by the customer on the day of delivery for faults or postal damage. If goods are faulty or reach you in an unsatisfactory condition, you must notify General Merchandise International within 7 days of receiving the goods and we will arrange to have the goods exchanged.
