Transforming this iconic woodblock print into cross stitch will allow you to experience the artwork in a new way, adding lustre and texture with Mouline Special Threads. The print was originally published sometime between 1829 and 1933 in the late Edo period.
Katsushika Hokusai was a Japanese artist, ukiyo-e painter and printmaker. He is best known for his woodblock print series - Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji (c.1831) which includes ther internationally recognised The Great Wave of Kanagawa, created during the 1820's.
